Accessibility Statement
Effective date: August 7, 2026
Short Sale Guide, LLC is committed to making shortsaleguide.com accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Many of the homeowners we serve are under real stress, and some rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or high-contrast settings. Accessibility is part of how we take that seriously.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Concretely, that means we design for sufficient color contrast, full keyboard operability, text that can be resized and zoomed without loss of function, descriptive link text and page titles, and content that works with screen readers.
What we do
We test this site against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria using automated auditing tools and manual review, and we re-test when we ship new pages or features. The site avoids auto-playing media, flashing content, and time limits. Our short sale eligibility checker works entirely with keyboard input and does not require a mouse.
Known limitations
Downloadable PDF documents (such as our guide and toolkit) are produced with tagged text rather than scanned images, but may not yet meet every PDF/UA criterion. If you need any of our content in an alternative format, email us and we will provide it.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, or need help accessing any content, contact us at info@shortsaleguide.com . Please describe the page and the problem; we respond to accessibility reports quickly and treat them as a priority.
